There will also be entertainment in the shape of the Palmerston Ukelele Band on Saturday and an Irish sessions band on Sunday.

In addition, over the weekend, the pub will be hoping customers dig deep to help a charitable cause - a fundraising drive in aid of eight-year-old Rico Dunworth, from Peterborough Road, Farcet.

The plucky schoolboy is recovering after being struck down with meningitis - which saw him need a foot amputated - and is still poorly in hospital in Leicester .

A tombola and other fundraising activities will take place.
