If anybody is interested in seeing what’s involved with being part of a happy band down at NVR there is a no-obligation chance when people can attend the second annual Volunteers Day .

All people need to do is pop along to the Wansford Station (PE8 6LR) between 10am and 3 pm and apart from the obligatory cup of tea and a biscuit there will be a brief synopsis of the many roles involved, a tour of the site and any questions you have will be answered.

If you can’t make it on the day call 01780 784444.

Gracing the Museum Room on the first floor is a large architectural model of Peckover, which has been so accurately made that, when peering into a room it’s easy to forget its size and believe you are looking at the real house! It is the work of Tim and Angela Hartnall of Anglia Dolls’ Houses.
