The Peterborough neighbourhoods where the most people have been vaccinated

More than 2,000 people have been vaccinated in every neighbourhood in Peterborough, it has been revealed.

The NHS England data, which was released yesterday, shows that more people have been vaccinated in Stanground than any other area of the city.

A total of 4,159 people have received the jab in Stanground - with more than a quarter of those aged under 55.

The highest number of people aged 80 and over to be vaccinated is in Longthorpe and Netherton, where 608 people have received the jab. The neighbourhood also tops the charts for people aged 75-79, with 430.

Orton West and Castor leads the way in a number of age groups, with the most people aged 55-59 (410), 60-64 (673), 65-69 (548) and 70-74 (604) all getting at least one dose.

Hampton Vale tops the charts for people getting the jab aged under 55, with 1,645.

The figures show one in three adults aged over 16 in Peterborough have now had the vaccine, with a total of 65,416 getting at least one jab.

Three quarters of people aged over 55 have now had at least one injection in the city.

There are concerns over the supply of the vaccine for April across the country, due to a reported delay in the delivery of millions of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine doses from India.

The highest number of people aged 80 and over to be vaccinated is in Longthorpe and Netherton, where 608 people have received the jab. The neighbourhood also tops the charts for people aged 75-79, with 430.
