Peterborough neighbourhood records twice as many positive COVID tests as any other during seven day period

Eight cases of coronavirus have been recorded in one Peterborough neighbourhood in just seven days, new figures reveal.

Between August 16 and August 22, the eight positive test results were recorded in the Millfield and Bourges Boulevard area of the city - twice the number of any other part of Peterborough.

During the same period there were four positive tests in both Stanground and Peterborough Central, and three in Longthorpe and Netherton.

No other area of the city recorded three or more tests.

There were also three positive tests in Oundle, Warmington & Titchmarsh.

Data includes lab confirmed positive cases of Coronavirus reported by August 24 with specimen dates between August 16 and August 22.

Cases from pillar 1 and pillar 2 of the Government’s testing programme are included.
