8 areas in Peterborough see a rise in Covid-19 cases - 13 see a fall

Most areas in Peterborough have seen a fall in Covid-19 cases over the previous week.

In 22 areas of the city, eight saw a rise in the number of cases recorded in the seven days up to November 19 while 13 saw a fall. Moreover, Barnack, Wittering & Wansford has had its “data suppressed to protect the privacy of individuals and prevent disclosure,” according to the website displaying the official figures.

Two areas which have seen large rises of coronavirus cases over the past week are Central Park and Millfield & Bourges Boulevard.

Central Park has seen a 90 per cent increase in positive Covid-19 cases, while Millfield & Bourges Boulevard has seen an 86.4 per cent increase.

However, there is better news in Hargate & Orton Longueville which has seen a 56.4 per cent reduction.
