In total 17 sixth form pupils took part in the event, which enabled them to gain first-hand experience of their chosen job role within the healthcare profession.

This was the fifth year in a row that the hospital has welcomed the students. They have been working in maternity, pharmacy, therapy services, pathology, Amazon children’s ward, radiotherapy, and the cardiac ward.
