The Brilliant Club is a charity which widens young people’s access to university by placing PhD candidates in schools to mentor pupils. It already works in a number of Ormiston Academies Trust secondary schools, but Ormiston Meadows is the first primary academy to participate.

Lizzie Papworth, assistant principal, said: “We are extremely proud of all the pupils who participated in this programme. The graduation from Selwyn College was a truly memorable experience which they will remember for years to come.”
