The NSPCC Peterborough Service Centre newsletter, now on its sixth issue, has broadened its reach to include support for families across the whole of Cambridgeshire.

The fortnightly newsletter, which formally became available to Peterborough residents at the start of lockdown, now includes helpful information such as food banks and support links to families who need a little extra help.

Zara Hillier - a children’s service practitioner at the Peterborough service centre, who helps contribute to the newsletter - said: “We want families to know support is out there and this newsletter can assist with giving them the tools to lessen their worries during these strange and very uncertain times.

“The NSPCC is still here for children and we won’t stop in our fight to ensure children are heard and helped, we truly hope this newsletter is playing a key part in this.”

The newsletter also includes activities for children, as well as helpful guidance from NSPCC service centre practitioners, plus information on how to get involved with the charity’s Childhood Day.

This issue also includes information about #BlackLivesMatter and details how people affected by racial bullying can seek help.
