Award recognises quality at school
The Quality Mark Award recognises impressive work being done by the school to improve progress in reading, writing and maths for all pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. The award has been developed by education charity Achievement for All, which offers support programmes to schools to help them improve outcomes in the lowest achieving 20 per cent.
Headteacher Kathy Fountain said: “I am proud of our pupils, their families’ and our dedicated staff. We strive to work together for all of our pupils and the Quality Mark is a fantastic recognition of this work.”
Kris Wodehouse, Regional Lead at Achievement for All, said: “We are thrilled to present Middleton Primary School with this much deserved award.”
