Nationally Aldi has more than 700 apprenticeship vacancies for its stores across the UK.

Aldi store apprentices are trained in all aspects of retail management during their three year course.

By the end of the scheme, the most successful store apprentices will have the opportunity to progress to the position of assistant store manager with a starting salary of £30,000.

Richard Holloway, regional managing director, said: “Our apprentices are given real responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to learn about the business from a grassroots level, and we expect our recruits to progress to a management position with us.”
