Retailer BHS opens convenience food store in Peterborough's Queensgate shopping centre

Department store BHS has just opened a food store at its outlet in Peterborough's Queensgate shopping centre.

The new offering was officially opened by the Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor John Peach, with BHS store manager, Martin Savage.

The convenience food store is the latest to be opened by the retailer, which began rolling out its food offering nationally two years ago.

Mr Savage said: “We offering a brilliant range of quality brands and everyday necessities at competitive prices.

“Our new Food Store is ideal for shoppers and city workers looking for lunch on the go or an easy supper with our fantastic range of dining options – everything is of the highest quality and offers excellent value for money.

“It’s located right here in the BHS store that everyone knows, loves and trusts.

“We look forward to welcoming the people of Peterborough into our new Food Store.”

Mark Broadhead, centre director at Queensgate, said: “We are delighted to see the BHS store evolving.

“This is a fabulous new addition to the store and the centre, and I’m sure our shoppers will enjoy this new offering.”
