Portable office company in Peterborough wins £3million contract

A Peterborough company has won a £3 million contract to provide vital accommodation from toilets to offices for water workers.

Portable accommodation specialist Elliott, which has its head office in Manor Drive, has secured a three year deal with Scottish Water.

Under the new contract, Elliott will supply a range of temporary portable accommodation to sites across Scotland.

They will include portable offices, secure storage containers, self-powered welfare facilities and a range of accessories that will be delivered and installed by Elliott.

Lee Jon Newman, chief executive of Elliott, which employs 100 people in Peterborough, said: “We are very pleased to have secured this valuable, long term contract with Scottish Water and it demonstrates our strategy of supporting key customers across the UK.

“We look forward to continuing to work with Scottish Water and build on the strong relationships we have already established through providing the best in customer service and market leading products including our 360° service offerings.

“These provide a host of accessories and packages that allow our customers to source all of their needs from a single Elliott branch.”

Elliott has been building links with the utilities sector over the last 50 years. It has a created a network of strategically placed hire branches across the UK and Scottish Water will be supplied from branches in Livingston, Glasgow, Falkirk and Inverurie.

Six weeks ago Elliott secured a £30 million contract to build 10 schools.
