Peterborough's Queensgate wins trio of awards for commitment to the environment

The centre has received three prestigious accolades for its commitment to the environment.

Its environmental team, led by environmental manager, Carol Wakelin, achieved the coveted ISO 14001:2015 accreditation.

It is considered globally as the gold standard for best energy and carbon management.

The centre has also received the Great Green Star at the East Region Investors in the Environment (iiE) Awards.

The iiE is an environmental accreditation scheme designed to help the business sector save money and reduce their impact on the environment.

And on top of that success, the centre collected silver for the Travelchoice Business Travel Plan award for its sustainable Travel Initiative for its 3,000 staff and retailers.
