Jobs created as energy firm moves into Peterborough

Jobs have been created in Peterborough with the arrival of an energy metering and billing company.

Insite Energy has just moved its customer call centre operations from London to Stuart House, in St John’s Street.

The company says the move has created 24 jobs in Peterborough.

Customer Service Manager, Carly Freeman, who is from Peterborough, said: “The new call centre is already 30 per cent bigger than previously.

She added: “We can grow to twice our current capacity within three years if required.

“We’re really investing in our staff, as well as technology.

“Peterborough is a great location as it’s a hub for customer contact centres, meaning there is a skilled local workforce to draw from.

“We’re offering a lot of benefits and amenities.

“It’s an exciting time to be with Insite Energy.”
