Gaming specialists plan to open store in Peterborough
The Gaming Squad, which currently has four stores, is searching for suitable premises in Peterborough.
A spokesman said that regardless of the store’s eventual location, the goal was to open in July this year.

Hide AdIt is estimated that the proposed store will create up to six jobs.
He said: “We are currently locating suitable premises and carrying out our market research into practicalities of each location.
“Wherever we choose to open, work will begin in May for an aimed July opening.”
The Gaming Squad runs specialist retro game shops that also stock a vast array of modern pre-owned titles.

Hide AdIt currently has stores in Sleaford, Wisbech and Bradford with another to open in Grantham, creating four jobs, on March 13.
It is also hoping to open stores in Bourne and Newark this summer, both of which would create up to four jobs.
The spokesman added: “We provide a retail environment for consumers to browse through our stock, take a trip down memory lane and talk about everything gaming related.
“We want it to be not just a shop but to be a community.”
Its shops offer a trade counter so stock is constantly new, stock a large variety of accessories and provide a Gaming Squad Repair Centre for any console repairs.
