Fashion retailer promises gift cards for the first shoppers at its new Peterborough store

Fashion retailer Joules will throw open the doors to its new store in the Queensgate shopping centre at 9.30am on Thursday (December 14) in a move that will create 10 jobs.

The first 21 shoppers at the store will get gift cards that together will total £1,700 in the retailer's Early Bird offer.

The retailer says the first customer in the queue will receive a £200 gift card.

The following 10 shoppers will receive a £100 gift and the next 10 will be given a £50 card.

A spokeswoman added: "As another celebratory treat, every customer through the doors over the opening weekend will also receive 15 per cent off any purchase made between December 14 to Sunday 17 December.

Tom Joule, founder of Joules, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening a new Joules store in Peterborough.

"We are really looking forward to bringing our unique personality and style to shoppers over the coming months.

"The new store will create 10 new jobs, which is great news too.

He added: "We can’t wait to open the doors on December 14.“
