Designer Sophie Allport to re-open Bourne and Stamford stores tomorrow
A homeware designer is poised to re-open her Bourne and Stamford shops tomorrow (July 1).
Award-winning Sophie Allport has installed social distancing and safety measures in both stores ahead of their re-opening.
In addition, the Stamford shop, which first opened in High Street three years ago, has been given a complete refurbishment.
It has been redecorated and the layout has been changed to create as much space as possible for customers to browse products, which includes homewares, kids, pets and accessories in more than 40 designs.
The Bourne shop, in Spalding Road, features free customer parking and an outlet area where products are discounted at 50 per cent.
Both shops are now equipped with hand sanitiser stations, social distancing signs and screens at the till. A range of cleaning procedures has been introduced.
Only cashless payments will be allowed and there will be a limit on the number of customers allowed in store at any one time.
Sophie said: “We’re so excited to reopen the doors to both our shops, especially our Stamford shop which has been completely refurbished and we’re really looking forward to showing off the new look to our customers.
“This is a new shopping experience for us all and we have introduced some new guidelines in both our shops to protect our customers and our team, we would like to ask that our customers abide by these while shopping with us.
“It’s so important to also be kind to one another.”
The designer’s retail website remains open at www.sophieallport.com where all the designs are available as well as the latest summer collections including Lobster, Crab and Whales.
