“The Careers Show offers businesses the ideal arena to start addressing this issue now.”

Sue Addison, skills lead for the Skills Service, said: “It’s free to exhibit.

“All we ask is that exhibitors come equipped with hands on activities to help engage visitors and a willingness to talk to young people about the skills required in different business sectors and the types of roles they could aspire to.”

Exhibitors will be split into eight experience zones to demonstrate the broad range of sectors and different career paths.

These are: the Food & Drink Zone, Outdoors Zone, High Tech Zone, Wellbeing Zone, Creative Zone, Lifestyle Zone, Business Zone and Military Zone.
