BadRhino, which is part of the Peterborough-headquartered plus-size fashion retailer Yours Clothing, is opening a new branch in the Rivergate Shopping Centre.

It is moving into the large premises on the corner of Bridge Street and Bourges Boulevard, left empty following the collapse of furniture giant Multiyork last November.

It will be BadRhino's third standalone shop in the UK.

A spokeswoman for the retailer said the store would open on Friday at 10am.

Details have not been released about the number of jobs that will be created.

Sales at BadRhino rose by 27 per cent in the 12 months to the end of January this year - accounting for four per cent of the total Yours Clothing sales.
