B&M opens its new Peterborough store in Bridge Street

Discount retailer B&M opened its new store in Bridge Street at 8.30am this morning (Thursday, March 16).

Deputy Mayor of Peterborough Keith Sharp officially opened the store which has taken over from M&S.

B&M, which also has a store in the Boongate Retail Park, is creating 60 new jobs with its move into Bridge Street.

It will stock a large variety of branded products including toys, food and drink, pet range, health and beauty and homewares.

The store will also boast an extensive DIY, decorating and furniture range, as well as homeware collections and electricals.
