Streets Chartered Accountants are sponsoring the exporter category at the Peterborough Telegraph Business Awards 2018.

He said: "Certainly, amongst our own client base and the wider business community we see an increased interest and appetite for businesses to engage in overseas trade.

"Not only are trading conditions more attractive to export but there does seem strong demand for goods produced and services originating from the UK.

“The ability to export is also no longer an activity for only the more established larger businesses – today’s exporters include a growing number of small and start–up enterprises.

"This award not only celebrates the region’s exports, but also helps to promote what can be achieved by those looking to export or to develop their overseas markets.”

Streets is a UK top 40 firm of chartered accountants, tax and business advisers, which provides advice to businesses and individuals trading or investing overseas.

It says that to support and satisfy the demand for its growing client portfolio engaged in international activity, Streets has been instrumental in establishing its own global association of

international accountancy, business and tax adviser firms – SBC Global Alliance.

Mr Prout said that Streets, along with fellow members of the Alliance, operate with shared values around independence and integrity, and are able to provide in country advice to individuals, businesses and organisations.

The association, which continues to expand its geographical coverage, is able to provide advice across Asia, America, Europe and the Far East.
