Smoke screen for the silverscreen as blockbuster film production continues at Burghley House
The smoke machines were working overtime at Burghley House yesterday as production of the latest Hollywood comic book film adaptation continued.
Warner Bros film crews have been working in Stamford over the past few weeks as part of the production of The Flash, set to be released in cinemas next year.
Burghley House will have a starring role as the exterior of Wayne Manor - home of Bruce Wayne - the alter ego of Batman.
The film stars Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as Batman, and Ezra Miller as The Flash.
It is not known whether any of the stars of the film are in the area at the moment - or what scenes are being filmed.
