Fire crews tackle house blaze near Peterborough city centre

Emergency services have been tackling a fire at a house near Peterborough city centre.

Crews were called to the blaze in Bishop's Road at 12.10pm today (Tuesday).

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said all residents had been accounted for when crews arrived, although one person needed treatment by ambulance crews for 'minor injuries.'

The police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances behind the fire, and it had been extinguished by 12.40pm.
