Teachers may not be able to deliver lessons in a traditional way in the current climate, but that has not stopped staff at a Peterborough primary school from trying to inspire their pupils.

Teachers at Hampton Vale Primary Academy have produced a lockdown version of them dancing along to Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ which has gone down really well.

And now they are hoping to see the children get involved themselves so the school can produce a second video.

Headteacher Paula Page said: “I am really proud of so many of our staff for getting involved in the video made for our children and community - we have had such positive feedback!

“I think it’s been lovely for the children to see their teachers again after such a long time. It has also given them something fun to take their minds off a very serious situation. We have now asked our children to send us clips of them dancing so that we can create the same for them. The clips have been flooding in and it’s been wonderful to see their smiling, happy faces.”
