Car blazes . . . parkway collision

ET reader Simon Strickson sent this photo of a car on fire at the Yaxley shopping centre in the early hours of yesterday.
And John Longmuir, transport manager at Crossacre Tippers Ltd, sent this photo taken by one of his drivers of an accident between a car and a bulldozer yesterday on the A1139 near the BP Roundabout at Eye.

That car on fire WAS my dad's Ford focus we only had it 13 months. I hope the people who stole it burned to death inside.

N.S. Merryweather - sorry to say you wouldn't be that lucky. These scumbags would not have suffered even if they had been caught by the police - would have been another sob story and a slap on the wrist from the court. I agree with your sentiment - regrettably, it didn't happen, more's the pity.
