Alan Swann: Murray and Henman will never win; Aaron goes from hero to zero

Andrew Murray will never win Wimbledon. Like Tim Henman before him, he's far too puny to win on grass.
He has the serve of a girl for a start and even screams like one in the misguided belief that he's whipping the crowd up into a frenzy.
In fact I find there is little to admire about Murray full stop. Not only is he weak, he's stupid – how many times did he go for the arrogant drop shot rather than the easy smash in this tournament?
The only chance Murray has of winning any Grand Slam is if they introduce one for gurning.
HENMAN'S debut as a commentator at Wimbledon probably passed you by. To call Henman bland doesn't do justice to a man who could have made Ali/Foreman's rumble in the jungle or the World Cup Final in 1966 seem boring.
It's the latest example of the BBC's obsession with celebrity ahead of professional broadcasters backfiring badly.
The commentary on the final by Henman and the equally dull Andrew Castle was a perfect exercise in stating the bleeding obvious in a 'if Nadal wins this game he will have won the set' sort of way.
Every time the beeb thinks of introducing a star name to their sports roster, someone should shout the name Sally Gunnell out loud.
John McEnroe is of course the exception to the rule. He was as brilliant as ever, but didn't commentate on the final because of other commitments – a strange arrangement considering the beeb pay him about £200,000.
I FEAR for Laura Robson, the 14 year-old who won the girls' singles at Wimbledon.
Winning youth titles is no guarantee of anything. For God's sake Annabel Croft won the same title and look what happened to her, a nondescript career followed by a stint as presenter of Naff TV show Treasure Hunt – and she wasn't even as good as Anneka Rice at that.
But Robson was the sole story on the front page of my Sunday newspaper which shows either an alarming lack of news sense or the fact that we are becoming increasingly desperate for sporting heroes, especially tennis ones.
Robson should cash in now. She'll never bulk up enough to win as many matches as the Ugly Sisters.
I HAVE seen Joey Barton's attack on members of the public in Liverpool City centre on YouTube. By all accounts his assault on a former team-mate at Manchester City was just as vicious.
And yet this tiny thug is walking the streets again today, ready to resume his lucrative footballing career, a sad indictment of society as well as sport.
I'm amazed anyone would want to play with this gruesome spectacle. One misplaced tackle could lead to getting your head kicked in and on previous form, one word spoken out of turn could lead to having a cigarette stubbed out in your eye.
If football has any moral backbone, Barton will be kicked into touch. But it doesn't so even if Newcastle get rid, the player will soon find himself another move and hence another massive payday.
