There’s two great nights of comedy coming up at the Key Theatre over the next week.

First up tomorrow (Friday) in the Studio is Imran Yusuf – the Edinburgh Festival Best Newcomer Nominee 2010 - headlining a Key Comedy Night.

Seen on BBC3’s Fried, Dave’s One Night Stand and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Imran is well renowned for his super-high energy performance and has a unique voice stamping his mark for positive, uplifting comedy at every turn.

Born in Mombasa, Kenya and raised in the UK with a brief stint at school in the USA, Imran’s comedy has been inspired by this rich multicultural background.

Support on the night comes from Russell Hicks, a Canadian comedian who weaves improvisation with killer material ensuring it’s never the same show twice, bright young comic Brennan Reece and the immediately likeable Funmbi Omitayo.

And next Thursday (November 19) Paul Foot brings his unique style of comedy to the Key.

Heralded by critics, Paul’s previous tours have been showered with 5 star reviews and nominations.

His subversive, insightful absurdity constantly challenges and delights his faithful connoisseurs, leaving “your sides sore and your face wet with tears” (Edinburgh Evening News).

His most recent TV credits include BBC1’s Would I Lie To You, BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks, C4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Comedy Central’s The Alternative Comedy Experience.

Tickets for both shows are available from the Key box office on 01733 207239 or online at www.vivacity-peterborough.com
