Stamford Shoestring Theatre will bring Cowardy Custard to the stage next week at the town’s Arts Centre.
It is an entertaining piece devised by Gerald Frow, Alan Strachan and Wendy Toye featuring the words and music of Noël Coward.
This celebration of the life and work of Noël Coward was a smash-hit at the Mermaid Theatre in the 1970s and has become a popular favourite with theatre companies ever since.
Coward’s ‘talent to amuse’ is abundant in a kaleidoscope of classic songs, duets, sketches, snippets of plays and extracts from his autobiographies.
Don’t miss this opportunity to fall under the spell of ‘The Master’ – an amateur performance by the arts aentre’s resident theatre company.
See it from Tuesday (December 9) to Saturday (7.45pm). Tickets cost £10 (£8 concessions) from the box office on 01780 763203.
