More big music stars could be following in Bryan Adams’ footsteps and performing to thousands in Peterborough as ticket sales continue to be a success.

The Canadian star will be playing a big gig at the Peterborough Embankment on Friday, August 5.

Les Kidger, director of concert organisers LCC Live, said more big stars and shows could follow.

He said: “We came down to Peterborough last week, and met with police and the council. Ticket sales are going well - there was a big surge, and there is normally a dip, but it has continued to go well through January.

“We want to make the show extra special.

“The venue is fantastic, the sales are going well, and the organisations we are working with have been very welcoming. I am sure we will want t0 put on more shows here in the future.”
