Peterborough Opera is presenting an Opera Gala Evening at The Key Theatre Studio tonight (Nov 13) at 7.45 pm.

The programme, devised by musical director, Kate Wishart is entitled ‘Moon, Magic and Mystery’ and includes some old favourites from Gilbert and Sullivan, choruses from Turandot (Puccini), Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and the less well-known Paul Bunyan (Benjamin Britten).

Guest singer is Alison Charlton-West who will be singing Rusalka’s Song to the Moon (Dvorak). Mozart is represented with a semi-staged scene from Cosi Fan Tutte featuring many of the favourite principal singers from the company.
