Sacrewell Farm, from April 1

From the 1st – 17th April, the Easter Bunny will be visiting Sacrewell. His Easter Trail will be on foot and take young adventurers across the whole site. As well as the Easter Trail, you can meet the cade lambs at daily lamb shows and see the Lincoln Longwool, Suffolk Texel Cross and Jacob lambs in the fields with their mums, or in the maternity unit. The public lamb shows will continue until 23rd April.

See one of Europe’s finest country-folk blues duos in a great setting. The evening will be full of classic acoustic good time blues featuring American folk, blues and ragtime music from the 1920s and 1930s.Tickets cost £10in advance and are available from Bridge Hardware, Crowland and the Abbey (when guides are there between 11am and 3pm) .

Baroque Masterworks

Peterborough Cathedral, April 1

Peterborough Cathedral Choir, Youth Choir and Festival Chorus, with Instruments of Time and Truth, directed by Steven Grahl, sing Handel ‘Coronation Anthems’ and Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’.

Amongst the four Coronations Anthems is the famous Zadok the Priest, described by Classic FM’s afternoon presenter Anne-Marie Minhall as “a spine-tingling, choral belter”. The Coronation Anthems have been sung at the coronation of every British monarch since they were written.

Local boy Steve Bean will be paying a return visit to St John’s after his superb début appearance there last summer. The café will be open for an hour before each lunchtime (1pm to 2pm) concert, raising funds for The Green Backyard.

Peterborough Arts Cinema is showing Learning to Drive (7.30pm), Isabel Coixet’s slice-of-life comedy/drama which stars Patricia Clarkson as Wendy, a middle-aged book critic who is shattered when her husband Ted (Jake Weber) leaves her. In order to visit her daughter (Grace Gummer), who lives upstate, Wendy begins taking driving lessons from Darwan (Ben Kingsley) an American citizen originally from India who makes a living as a cabbie and giving driving lessons.
