About 400 talented children took to the stage to star in a colourful show of dance.

The youngsters from the Tu Danse Studios, in Newark Road, put on three performances of their annual show.

Each was watched by audiences who packed into the Kingsgate Community Church in Parnwell.

Children of all ages, sang and danced their way through spectacular routines with energy and confidence to the delight of the audience.

Anita Winter, the studios owner, said: “Every single one of the young people performing did so brilliantly.”

She said: “They were a delight to spend time with.

“I would like to thank everyone for their energy, enthusiasm, commitment and excellence.

“A huge well done to every single one for making the show such a success.”

The Little ones from Baby-Boogie, some as young as three, left mums reaching for the tissues to wipe away a tear or two, while the Senior Ballet Girls demonstrated the poise, elegance and balance that only hours of practice and dedication can give.

The cheering and standing ovation put an extra wide smile on the faces of those young performers.
