Oundle drama group bring The Sorcerer to the stage

A TALE of love mixed with a magic potion is the Oundle Gilbert & Sullivan Players’ 2012 production.

The Sorcerer – Gilbert & Sullivan’s third operatic collaboration – begins a six-day run on Monday.

Paul Weetman, from Oundle Gilbert & Sullivan Players, said: “With a strong cast and orchestra, combined with excellent costumes, scenery, lighting and sound enhancement, The Sorceror is a show not to be missed.”

It will be performed in the Queen Victoria Hall, in West Street, Oundle, from Monday until Saturday, March 3.

Following the recent refurbishment of the Victoria Hall a bar will now be available selling coffee or wine both before the production and during the interval.

There will also be a stall selling soft drinks and sweets.

Tickets are available from Oundle in Stitches, in Oundle’s Market Square, Oundle.

They cost £9 for Monday and Tuesday and £10 thereafter.

Shows begin at 7.30pm.

An offer of four tickets for the price of three is available on Monday and Tuesday.

For further information, call Paul on 01832 273830.
