Peterborough gymnast Louis Smith has set his sights on more success - this time on the dance floor as he took his Strictly Come Dancing bow.
Eye’s London 2012 double medallist said he was hoping to take home Strictly gold- despite admitting his dance moves were ‘not too sharp.’
Louis will be partnered by Italian Flavia Cacace on the hit BBC1 show.
Along with finding out who his dancing partner will be, Louis and the fellow dancers performed a routine to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now - the same song Louis starred in for a video with other members of Team GB following the Olympics. The video also starred cycling star Victoria Pendleton, a fellow contestant on Strictly Come Dancing this year.
Other contestants include former cricketer Michael Vaughan, singer Kimberley Walsh and model Jerry Hall.
The couples will return to the screen on October 5 after carrying out training to star on the dance floor.
