MEXICAN bandits and Hawaiian hula-girls will be among the sights on show at the Spalding Flower Parade this weekend.
Lincolnshire fancy dress company Smiffy’s has provided a large variety of costumes for participants to wear on the many floats that will go through the town at the parade this Saturday.
The 54th Flower Parade will start from the Springfields Events Centre, off the A16, at 2pm before going on its three-mile journey to the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Fields where the floats will go on show from 4pm to 6pm.
The floats parading through the town will be decorated with more than 1.3 million tulip heads. Musical performers will include the Spalding Ukelele Band and Spalding Marching Ambassadors.
