Half-term: Hit the trail or go fly a kite at Ferry Meadows
Things get under way with the half-term trail, from Saturday until February 21, 10am to 3pm.
Collect a trail sheet from the Visitor Centre then hunt for clues as you walk around Ferry Meadows. Return to the Visitor Centre to claim your prize.
There is a charge of 50p and no need to book.

Hide AdOn Sunday go along to Ferry Meadows (10:30am-12:00noon and 1:30pm-3:00pm ) where the rangers will help you to make a kite. Then go and fly it on the meadows.
It is free, with a suggested donation of £2. Booking is essential.
On Tuesday, CJ’s Birds of Prey will be there to tell you about their fascinating birds and giving you a chance to see the birds up close.
This is an indoor event at the Discovery Den, from 11:00am-11:45am and 12:15pm-1:00pm. It costs £3 and booking is essential.

Hide AdThe following day is Wild Wednesday, when children and adults are welcome to go along and join in some seasonal and wild crafts from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Discovery Den.It is a free event with a suggested donation of £2.There is no need to book.
Finally on Friday, it is all about forest crafts for kids, where you can learn how to use some simple tools to make forest crafts to take home and keep.
It runs from 10:30am to 12 noon and 1:30pm to 3pm.
It costs £5 and bookingis essential.
