MANY children dream about what it's like being Mayor of Peterborough for the day.
But for the lucky youngsters at Woodston Primary School, the dream became a reality as they toured the Town Hall and quizzed the present incumbent, Councillor Pat Nash, this week.

Although one of the more pressing questions the mayor had to deal with was "Have you got a dog?" the little ones certainly got a picture of life as mayor, including getting to sit in her car.

Cllr Nash said: "It was a delight to have the children here, and they were all really lovely and asked lots of questions. They were so well behaved as they sat in the council chamber and I am sure they enjoyed their visit."
