TV chefs Simon King and Dave Myers came to Peterborough to sign copies of their new book.
TV chefs Simon King and Dave Myers came to Peterborough yesterday, with fans queueing outside Waterstone's for a signed copy of their latest book.
The pair, who call themselves the Hairy Bikers, are best known for their BBC cookery show, where they travel the globe experiencing local food and culture.
They revealed their favourite place to visit was Argentina, and that Madras, in India, was not the safest place to ride a motorcycle.
They told tales of the some of the weird and wonderful foods they have sampled, including scorpions which they referred to as tasting similar to pork scratchings.
Along with signing their new cookbook, the hilarious duo shared jokes with fans and even gave them a glimpse off their tattoos.
David Ingram (48), from Eye near Peterborough, said: "They really are down to earth, what you see is what you get".
