For six-year-old Amelia Warcup's superb community-themed design of the internet search engine's logo is now in the final 48 of a competition to celebrate its 10th anniversary after beating off around 70,000 competitors.
The Yaxley Infant School pupil now has her fingers crossed she will be awarded first place in the five to seven-year-old category, which will mean her dreams of meeting the head of the royal family will come true.
If she goes on to win her category, she will then be in with a chance of winning the whole competition and could win a trip to California to meet the creator of the weird and wonderful Google designs Dennis Hwang.
Amelia said: "I really like drawing. I drew a picture of a fireman, a policeman and a lollipop lady as they represent the friendly people in the community who help out.
"I am really excited that I might win. I really want to meet the Queen."
Called Doodle 4 Google, the competition was launched in schools across the country and has seen more than 70,000 entries from five to 18-year-olds.
A panel of design, education and cultural experts will judge the entries based on their artistic merit, creativity and their concept of the community theme.
With the winner of the next round not announced until Wednesday, Amelia's parents Paul and Jackie are urging people to go online and help make their youngest daughter's dream come true.
Mr Warcup, of Peartree Walk, Yaxley said: "We didn't know much about the competition until Amelia brought it home as her homework one afternoon.
"She was given the challenge of designing her own Google doodle and her design was picked as one of six to be sent off for the competition.
"Then we found out that she was picked as the winner across the East of England, and now represents the region in her age category.
"Now we are hoping she is picked as the winner as she quite fancies the opportunity of meeting the Queen and she will also win some equipment for her school."
The overall winning design will also become the main Google logo on their homepage on Wednesday, where it will be seen by about 18 million people.
