ANOTHER huge haul from hot-shot Dave Weston saw Thomas Cook secure the Peterborough Sunday Morning League Division Three title against Werrington Rangers on Wednesday night.
Four goals for Weston in the 9-3 rout took his tally for the season to a staggering 52 and ended Riley's faint title challenge.
With their nearest rivals going down 7-2 to The Office, the hefty win meant is was party time for Michael Sherman's side with the manager himself also finishing in style with a hat-trick flourish.
He said: "We are delighted and it is always good to tie things up with an emphatic win and a lot of goals. But I would like to give a bit of credit to the guys who don't often get a mention - players like Roy Gilmour, James Wapples, Phil Reed, Shaun Cox and Paul Russell, who have been great this season.
"But the whole team have been tremendous and next year we hope to keep pushing on and win back to back promotions."
