Teenager in snooker club fall is 'stable'

A TEENAGER who was injured after he plunged from a Stamford snooker club's fire escape remains in a stable condition in hospital.
The 17-year-old boy is being treated for a suspected fractured skull in Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge.

He had fallen about 20ft from Stamford Snooker Club, in the town's High Street, at about 12.30am on Sunday.

Police officers broke into the New Look store in High Street to allow ambulance crews to get to the teenager.

He was initially rushed to Peterborough District Hospital, before being transferred to Addenbrooke's.

Police are treating the fall as an accident.
