Stamford: Central heating system stolen

AN OLD copper central heating system was stolen from the side of a house in broad daylight.
The theft happened in Clover Gardens, Stamford, at about 1pm on Tuesday (16 September).

The owner of the metal had left a cylinder from the system at the side of the house to be taken for recycling.

The thief, who was about 5ft 10ins tall, loaded it on to the back of a white flat-back tipper van and drove off.

Anyone with any information can call police, on 01780 752222, quoting incident number 56 of September 16.
