A TEDDY bear trail and tasty cream teas were some of the highlights of a fund-raising event in Ryhall on Sunday (August 3).
The activity day was held on Sunday to raise money for the village hall, and also included a range of family walks in and around the village.

The teddy trail gave children the chance to win a giant cuddly bear, and the prize was won by Ryhall youngster Beth Cameron.

Village hall secretary Anne Virgin said the event had been a success.

She said: "It's the first time we have organised this kind of fund-raising event but we would like to do it again next year as everyone seemed to enjoy it.

"Sunday is a time for relaxing with the family, so we wanted to offer something for all ages to enjoy as well as raising money for the village hall."

The fund-raising day also featured an art exhibition hosted by the Ryhall Art and Craft Club along with craft, bring and buy, book and jewellery stalls.
