Agree, overseas clubs only give you plastic glasses to avoid drunk idiots trying to hurt each other.

Bet he gets a fine or a nice cushy community order. Punishments need to be a deterent not an incentive.

I believe that the Park already has in the function room upstairs.
To be honest, given how bad the beer tastes in a lot of these clubs, changing from glass to platic won't affectthe taste one iota, regardless of what clubbers try to tell you.
Act like children and get treated like children - plastic cups for all.
And better to be treated like children rather than be treated in casualty.

The Park function room gives out platic glass - as does the Cresset - for live music events for safety reasons - as does most live music venues in the country - it's only pubs and clubs which don't - maybe nightclubs should start looking at similar restrictions?

i think people should look at the facts first before saying how things should be dealt with. Plastic glasses yes up for that has i have scars from glass to the face. will it help putting them away who knows maybe back ground needed on the person who caused the fight and also on who used the glass. how did the fight start. I feel no different to the guy that put a glass in my face but then i know what happened and what caused the fight.
