Two hat-tricks as super Sawtry shoot down Swallows

WHITTLESEY Under 11s were pegged back as they shared the Fenland League spoils at Wyberton.
Sophie Powell opened the scoring for the local side after getting on the end of a fine TJ Reade corner, but Wyberton levelled early in the second period as it ended 1-1.
LAURA Smith smashed a dramatic winner as Azure Under 17s snatched a Cambs League success over Milton. The city side sneaked home 3-2 after Smith found the net in the final minute.
Earlier Jordan Biggs and Chanade Henderson had left Azure 2-0 up before Milton hauled themselves level.

AN eight-goal avalanche boosted Azure Under 15s hopes of winning the Cambs Girls League Division B title.
The city outfit were handsome 8-0 winners away at Sutton.
Shay Stanford set Azure on their way with the opening goal before going on to claim a hat-trick.
Chantelle Coulson (2), Sam Woodhams, Jes Hill and an own goal completed the Azure tally.

DIAMONDS Under 14s had no trouble knocking the sting out of the Histon Hornets.
Sophie Gardiner scored in each half as the local aces romped to a 4-0 win in the Cambs Girls League.
Simeone Compton had opened the scoring with a clever chip and Georgia Newman was the other scorer.

GOALKEEPER-turned-goalscorer Elizabeth Steele bagged a hat-trick as Diamonds Under 11s returned to winning ways.
Steele used to spend her time keeping opponents out, but she has quickly become a specialist in shooting them down.
Her treble accounted for Comberton as the city girls collected a 4-1 Cambs Girls League success.
Abbie Steels nabbed the other goal.FOUR fine goals, a clean sheet and maintaining top spot – Posh Under 13s hit the halfway mark in the Cambs Girls League season in fine style.
Milton Colts were the latest side to feel the full force of the Posh aces as they kept hold of their lofty position at the summit.
First-half efforts from Emily Fox and Cady Carolissen set them on their way to this latest victory.
Stacie Heron danced round the keeper to claim Posh's third before midfield maestro Bethany Wilson added the final gloss.
POSH Girls found out just why Discovery Girls are top of the Fenland Under 13 League.
The league leaders showed the new Posh outfit no mercy as they cracked four second half goals to seal a 5-0 win.
Dani Perkins and Bethany Cameron were the top Posh performers.
POSH under 11s tightened their strangehold on the Cambs Girls League top spot by extending their unbeaten record.
The city side were given a run for their money by opponents Bishop's Stortford before emerging victorious 4-2.
Two Kier Perkins goals sent Posh in for the break 2-1 up, but they were soon pegged back in the second period when only the expert goalkeeping of Katie Plumb prevented them from falling behind.
However, Posh regained the upper hand as two Megan Parrett goals ensured the leaders were triumphant again.
THE plucky Posh Under 11 team in the Fenland League were unlucky to lose 4-1 against Hungate. They were on level terms at 1-1 at half-time thanks to a goal from Jessica Blackbird and continued to play with passion despite Hungate upping the ante in the second half.
