Swimming: Scholes the star so far

Jamie Scholes has been the City of Peterborough Swimming Club (COPs) star so far at the Summer British Nationals in Sheffield.

Scholes (15) led from start to finish in the 200m backstroke final and smashed his personal best time by a massive 1.5 seconds to claim a gold medal.

And Scholes also bagged a couple of bronze medals in the 50m backstroke and the 14-16 years 800m relay team alongside Thomas Wiggins (16), Daniel Leigh (16) and Finn Corbett (14).

Scholes also claimed a sixth in the 200m freestyle final.

Kate Brown (16), 6th 200m freestyle.

Chloe Hannam (19): 10th 200m freestyle, 5th 200m individual medley, 6th 100m backstroke.

Rachel Wellings (15): 9th 200m individual medley.

Daniel Leigh (16): 9th, 100m fly, 200m freestyle 4th.

Lauren Harrison (14): 5th 200m breaststroke.

Mia Leech (13): 6th 200m breaststroke

Amelia Monaghan (13): 7th 200m breaststroke.

Leah Roughen (16): 5th, 200m breaststroke
