Have your say

Sledging is fantastic and it’s been a huge part of any Ashes series from the year dot. I’d even say Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson revel in it and are game enough to give as good as they get. Tests against the Aussies are very special so let’s not try to cleanse something that has been going on since the ‘body line’ days of Jardine, Larwood and co. It’s far from thuggish and it’s a big part of what makes the Ashes so very special.

Long live the sledgers.

Oh dear Swanny, yet another article that suggests you know very little about football and just echo what a Talk Sport listener hears.

A few points...

Chelsea were the top tier’s second highest goalscorers when romping to the title so hardly boring. Mourinho was easily the best manager last season when winning two domestic trophies.

No mention of Hazard as one of the best players? Oh dear...anti-Chelsea FC mate?

Kompany rubbish for years? Utter drivel but I accept he had a poor season. Henry worse that Savage? Leave it out!

How anyone can give Savage one minute of their ears is beyond me.

Love it Swanny, especially about the different farewells to the Premier League of Steve Gerrard and Frank Lampard. Lampard always was a class apart from the (relatively) trophy-less Scouser

Darren Jones

So sad to hear (about the foul and abusive language in a Rutland Division Three game). It’s very important that all players play in the right spirit and it-has to be the captain’s responsibility.
