Super Shannon leads the gold rush

There were trophies galore for a city martial arts club when they took part in the big 'Clash UK' tournament held at Wigston in Leicester.

There were trophies galore for a city martial arts club when they took part in the big 'Clash UK' tournament held at Wigston in Leicester.Ian Parker’s martial arts team (Master Parker’s Serial Kickers) based at Walton won 16 medals and Shannon Parker (14) stole the show with five trophies.

Instructor Ian Parker said: “It is a fantastic achievement for a small club like ours to have such a massive impact on the competition circuit. I would like to say a big well done to all the team who have done me proud.”

Results:

Shannon Parker (14): 1st Chambra, 2nd Sparring, 3rd Creative, 2nd Weapons, 3rd Adult Weapons.

Callum Dalliday (7): 3rd Forms.

Kieran Gale (11): 3rd Weapons, 2nd Sparring.

Hannah Graham (10): 3rd Sparring.

Chris Green (16): 2nd Sparring.

Shannon Skingley (11): 1st Weapons, 3rd Sparring.

Braiden Wilson (8): 2nd Forms, 3rd Sparring.

Sam Richards (11): 2nd Weapon.

Dylon Wilson (14): 2nd Sparring.

Leah Stone: Runner-up sparring.

Hollie White: Runner- up sparring.

Owen Dalliday - runner-up.
