TOP city pool player Carly Smith, an England international for over a decade, won the Sportswoman of the Year award for the second time and is pictured receiving her prize from Samantha Hale.

TOP city pool player Carly Smith, an England international for over a decade, won the Sportswoman of the Year award for the second time and is pictured receiving her prize from Samantha Hale.Smith was a beaten finalist in 2007 in the European Championships.

Runners-up were England ladies cricket captain Charlotte Edwards and world-class squash player Tania Bailey.
