See our 12-page supplement online: The Peterborough Telegraph Sports Awards 2014 are upon us, time for you to get voting for your local heroes.
Our sportsmen and sportswomen have already done their bit in 2014, and now it’s over to you, the readers, to decide which achievements you consider to have been the best.
In today’s special 12-page supplement we put the spotlight on some of the many people who made an impression in 2014, but feel free to vote for anyone you feel deserves it.
The supplement merely offers suggestions in each category and that’s all they are. The choice is entirely down to you.
Within the 12-page supplement is a voting form and details of how to vote by text as well.
The top three in each of the 10 categories when voting closes on Friday, 16 January will be invited to the annual awards bash at the Cresset on Friday, 30 January when the winners will be announced and the sponsors will present the trophies.
Peterborough Telegraph sports editor Bob French said: “We’ve had world champions, European champions and British champions in a wide variety of sports in the area and we’re looking forward to an exciting four weeks of voting.”
